ABOUT
Our Goals
The Translational Health and Medicine Society is a dynamic and forward-thinking student-led group focused on fostering innovation within the healthcare sector and turning great ideas into everyday practices. With a primary mission to serve as a hub for students at Oxford who are passionate about health innovation and implementation, the society provides a platform where individuals can come together, collaborate, and transform their healthcare ideas into widespread practices. The society encourages students from diverse academic backgrounds to engage in multidisciplinary projects, supporting the growth of new ideas at the intersection of medicine, technology, business, and policy.
The society's core activities revolve around providing opportunities for learning, networking, and collaboration. The society aims to help students find ways to translate innovations into widespread use. As a result, it has several sub-groups based on student interest. These include the Medical Entrepreneurship Group, Health Policy Group, and Digital Innovation Group. These sub-committees of the society are groups for students to explore their specific interests within translational health and medicine.
